I am not the kind of person who makes New Year Resolutions…however one thing I am determined to do this year is take at least one picture a day of my son. In 2013 I was so focused on taking pictures for everyone else that I neglected to take photos of my family. It’s not that I didn’t take any but I wish I would’ve taken more! So I have been snap, snap, snapping everyday or at least every few days the ordinary moments with Oliver. You know – bath time, snuggling with his Sully stuffed toy, playing in his Planes tent, wearing his spiderman mask…you get the picture. I can’t believe how fast these years are going and I want to make sure I have as many photos of the every day moments to remember how I felt during those times. And I love to have pictures that tell a story of Oliver’s life such as his favorite things and his development/growth. We had such a peaceful day at home today. We watched a couple of movies together, played with legos, brought his Planes tent downstairs, and played in the snow. The funniest thing he did today was strip down and put on his swimming gear while the snowstorm was in full effect. He wanted to go outside and play in the snow with just his pants on – he didn’t understand that the snow was cold. He screamed and cried when I put regular clothing and his coat and hat on him. He refused to put on gloves…so we only stayed outside for literally 5 minutes. In that time I managed to snap a few pics…clearly he isn’t a big fan of the snow…LOL
